    • Sliding Scale: Sliding scale options are available depending on financial need—please inquire directly for more details.

    • Yes: Insurance plans are accepted, but it’s important to verify with the insurance provider whether therapy services at Divina Wellness Center are covered. Check if mental health coverage or out-of-network benefits are included.

    • Out-of-Network: If out-of-network, receipts and documentation are provided for submission to insurance companies for potential reimbursement.

    • Individual Therapy: In individual therapy, work is done together to explore and address the challenges being faced. Sessions typically last 50 minutes, where issues are discussed, coping strategies are developed, and goals are set for personal growth.

    • Couples Therapy: Couples therapy involves both partners working through relationship issues together. Evidence-based methods are used to improve communication, resolve conflict, and build stronger bonds.

    • Initial Session: The first session is a chance to learn more about background, what brings a client to therapy, and goals. It’s also a time to assess if the fit is right for working together.

    • Ongoing Sessions: Sessions may include discussion, exercises, or therapeutic techniques aimed at addressing goals. Expect a supportive, confidential environment where thoughts and feelings are respected.

    • Homework: Sometimes, assignments or practices may be given to work on between sessions to reinforce progress.

    • Length of Treatment: The length of therapy depends on the goals. Some clients find relief after a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Progress will be assessed regularly, and treatment length will be adjusted accordingly.

    • Couples Therapy: Couples therapy may vary in duration, but many couples see positive changes in 6–12 sessions. Deeper issues may take longer to resolve.

  • Yes: All information shared in therapy is confidential, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to oneself or others. Ethical guidelines are followed to protect privacy. Confidentiality will be discussed in more detail during the first session.

  • Cancelation Policy: If an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, please notify at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less notice may result in a fee, as time is allocated for the session. Flexibility is available when possible.

    • Personal Growth: Therapy helps identify patterns of thought or behavior that may be holding back progress. Work will focus on challenging those patterns and developing healthier ways of thinking and coping.

    • Trauma: Therapy provides a safe space to process trauma and develop strategies for healing.

    • Relationships: Therapy can improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships between partners, family members, or other loved ones.

  • Perinatal Mental Health focuses on mental well-being during pregnancy and postpartum. Specialized care is offered for those experiencing perinatal depression, anxiety, birth trauma, and adjustment to parenthood. The goal is to support mental health during this transformative period.

  • Therapy is a Process: It’s normal for change to take time. If therapy isn’t working, it’s important to discuss it and adjust the approach. The goal is to ensure that clients are getting the support needed.
